Regular school travel
School Runs Planned Around Your Family’s Timetable
Rumiancev Drive provides pre-booked journeys between home and school for families who need regular or occasional chauffeur travel. An arrangement may cover every school day, selected weekdays, morning collections, afternoon returns or a combination of these journeys, subject to the confirmed route and availability.
Before the service begins, we agree the home and school addresses, required collection times, passenger details, family contacts and any instructions relating to arrival at school or collection after lessons.
After-school clubs, sports, tutoring, appointments or another authorised destination can be included when the additional stop and timing are agreed in advance.
- Home-to-school morning collections
- School-to-home afternoon returns
- Term-time schedules or selected weekdays
- Pre-agreed after-school destinations
Private and coordinated travel
Only the Passengers Named in Your Arrangement
We do not combine separate customer bookings or independently add children from other families. The vehicle carries only the passengers included in the confirmed school run arrangement.
Families who already know one another may organise a shared route for classmates. Once the parents have agreed the group, we can assess a sequence of home collections, the journey to school and the afternoon return as one coordinated booking.
We aim to provide continuity where the schedule allows, but the same chauffeur cannot be guaranteed for every journey. When another suitable chauffeur is assigned, the confirmed route, contacts and collection instructions remain part of the booking.
- One lead parent or organiser recommended for updates
- Every child and authorised address confirmed before travel
- Pickup and drop-off order agreed as part of the route
- Changes remain subject to timing and vehicle availability
Parent-arranged school groups
How a Multi-Stop School Route Can Work
Once the participating families have agreed who is travelling, we review the complete route, timings and practical requirements before confirming the arrangement.
Families Set the Group
Parents decide which children will travel together and provide the necessary family contacts. Rumiancev Drive does not match families or offer individual places in a shared vehicle.
Morning Collection Order
Each home address and collection time is planned in sequence so the children can reach the agreed school handover point at the required time.
Afternoon Return
The chauffeur collects the named children from the confirmed school location and takes each passenger to an authorised address in the planned order.
The Route Is Reviewed as a Whole
Traffic, school timings, passenger numbers, child-seat requests, school bags and vehicle capacity are considered before the service is accepted.
Before the first journey
Details Confirmed for Every Child and Collection Point
Clear information keeps the route, handovers and family communication consistent from the first journey.
Days, Times and Term Dates
Confirm the required weekdays, school start and finish times, service start date and any term dates or known timetable variations.
Passenger and Family Contacts
Provide each child’s full name and age together with parent, guardian and emergency contact details relevant to the arrangement.
Collection and Handover
Supply the school meeting point, collection procedure, authorised receiving adults and any instructions the chauffeur must follow.
Seats, Bags and Equipment
Tell us about child or booster seats, school bags, sports kits, musical instruments and other items so a suitable Mercedes-Benz vehicle can be confirmed.
School run questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Practical information about children travelling without a parent, schedule changes and related school journeys.
Can a child travel without a parent in the vehicle?
Each arrangement is reviewed before acceptance. The child’s age, family contacts, collection instructions and authorised handover details must be confirmed in advance.
Can parents manage the arrangement remotely?
Yes. A parent or guardian can provide the timetable, route and instructions remotely, provided the responsible contacts and school handover arrangements are clear.
What happens when the timetable or passenger list changes?
Contact us as early as possible. A new time, address, stop or passenger is included only after the change has been reviewed and confirmed.
Can school-to-airport travel be arranged?
Yes. A separate journey between a home, school and airport can be planned with the flight details, luggage and required handover instructions supplied in advance.
